Kung ako na lang sana 2003 series#
This is the theme from the popular TV series Magpakailanman. Hanggang is presented alongside another new hit by Wency, and one that he wrote himself. These are Kantahan, Awit, Kahit Kailan, Lagi Kitang Mamahalin, Ang Lahat Ko ay Ikaw, This Love Song, Isnt It Bad, Pangako ng Bukas and Langit Sa Lupa. His singing is in top form and the songs are all potential hit singles. The album showcases Wency as a producer, songwriter and singer and must be his best effort to date. This was launched last night with a media showcase at Club Chill on T. A new acoustic arrangement of the song with the talented Lester Demetillo on the classical guitar is included in Wencys new album from Viva Records titled Langit Sa Lupa.

Wency, who usually records his own compositions, made one of his rare recordings of a song by other composers in the case of Hanggang which has now become one of his biggest hits.

These were for the Music Video Performance of the Year, Music Video of the Year, the Music Video Director of the Year for Jun Reyes and the Music Video Producers of the Year for Chang Bayaborda, Grace Quisias and Desiree Pe. It was the lovely Ayen Munji-Laurel though, who emerged as the top winner with four awards when she swept all the trophies in the Awits video category for her song Bawat Gabi.

Bituin won for Best Performance by a Female Artist, Best Produced Recording and Best Pop Recording. Wency and the sensational Bituin Escalante tied for three Awit trophies each. The famous singer-composer, whose hits include Next in Line and Habang May Buhay, brought home the awards for Best Ballad Recording, Best Traditional Recording and the Best Musical Arrangement, which he shared with Alvin Nuñez. Hanggang, the hauntingly beautiful love song composed by the husband and wife team of Roni and Gilda Cordero, gave Wency Cornejo three trophies at the recent Awit Awards for recordings made in 2002.
